Do any of you guys play role-playing games? I, myself, have aleays loved them and I'm running one and being a player in another over the internet right now. for those of you that don't know role-playing games (or RPGs) are the spiritual ancestors of wargames. You have one or two charcters each and you would roleplay these characters through different situations. Most even used a board to play on and models. Over time these got less and less in depth and people started using more and more models and we ended up with wargames.

Examples of RPGs would include: GURPs (my personal favourite), DnD, Vampire: The Requiem and Inquisitor.

So, yeah, do any of you guys play these?

A few people play D&D on Thursday nights. But I am not sure wheaver they have accounts on the forum

I am a keen RP'er, I've played D&D, ST:RPG, Firefly, Battlestar, McWOD, most of the oWOD games (though with MET rules, as I run a MET game and take part in another MET game in stafford).

I've also got a ton of game systems in either book or PDF form and have been looking to take part in a tabletop game for some time.
